Lots of new things happening in the studio these days, and terrific success at the Fall 2022 Weaverville Art Safari. While I am not part of the spring show, I plan to be back again in the fall of 2023 working on a lot of new material.

Paintings
Whimsical, unique, one of a kind paintings inspired by the natural world. Originals, giclees, and note cards available. You may see a resemblance to birds, but often there are creative liberties, probably won't really find them in nature!

Unique Wall Sculptures
"Flying Away" is just one example of the unique wall hangings created by our collaboration. This is one of our signature pieces. Far left is "Universe Speaks" a great example of a custom piece designed for a client with a special request. For more like this check out the Unique Wall Sculptures tab.
Sculptural
Michael loves to challenge the imagination with functional and whimsical pieces. You may have to challenge yourself and your friends to find the function but it will delight and sometimes amaze. While this piece has been sold, look at the Sculptural Pieces for even more examples.
Custom Work
San Diego, Seattle, and many places in between, Michael has created installations that inspire creativity, add excitement to a new space, plus add usefulness to an empty space. The Custom Work section, along with his business Michael Ireland Designs,
